The smoke was thick and silky, which filled the air with beautiful clouds of fog, that took quite a while to dissipate. Lingering aromas meant King Louis XIII was better consumed in the privacy of your own home; or alternatively, with a vaporizer that will minimize strong odours.

When vapourized using the Volcano Plenty, the lemon flavour of 24K Gold became candy-like in my mouth, as my taste buds got grasp of the pungent vapour I had just inhaled. The vapour was also smooth and silky, on both inhale and exhale and the lemon soothed my throat like a medicated lozenge. There was also a slight hint of a blueberry flavouring, bringing Tim Horton’s Lemon Blueberry muffin to mind.

As I opened the bag, the first thing I noticed was the chemical aroma that quickly wafted into my sinuses. This could be due to the parentage of GG4; probably stemming from the Chocolate Diesel. There was also a heavy presence of old, stale coffee, that also had a slightly singed, burnt smell. The buds were a frosty laurel green with golden pistils throughout; with perfect and white, crystal trichomes, scattered along the surface of the delicately appearing nugget.

The coffee aroma extended to a powerful, all encompassing flavour, as the smoke embarked on its exit journey of out my lungs. There were also notes of diesel and pine that grew stronger, as time went on and more was smoked. The smoke was also thick, rich and pungent; leaving a potent, lingering fragrance, that left no secret of my activities.

When vaped with the Volcano Plenty, the features of GG4 were similar to; but, enhanced compared to combustion, which led to the sweet, chemical flavour becoming a bit too overbearing for me. When vaped with the Volcano Plenty, the grape flavour that was hinted to with combustion, ripened into a full flavour profile. The grape and cheese flavours amalgamated into a creamy, silky flavour and texture in my mouth. I felt the strain caused me to salivate and as quickly as that started, my mouth became arid as a desert; be sure to have a healthy beverage close by. Furthermore, the scent that filled the air was pungent; however, it was quite tolerable.

I found that the kief was tightly pressed together and crumbled easily in my fingers leaving a strong odour of Trainwreck’s sweet, lemon scent on them. The particles of Kief were the most enticing gold colour, that reminded me strongly of Blonde Lebanese hash.

When combusted the lemon flavour was so pungent, I was sent into a little coughing fit; luckily, the fit was only temporary and during the first session. The trainwreck kief was by far, the most mind boggling, powerful experience and should be used with care, especially by novices.
